After 10 years of working at Burrowing Owl, the family winery, longtime winemaker Stephen Wyse and his partner Michelle Young decided to embark upon their dream of owning and running their own family winery. After an extensive search, Stephen and his family found the perfect location to start making their dream a reality in Osoyoos, British Columbia. This will be their 17th vintage.
The vineyard is located on the East bench, overlooking beautiful Osoyoos Lake. The planting is on sloping terraces and consists primarily of sandy loam soil. The southwesterly exposure offers long days of sunlight hours. The cooling effect from the lake balances the heat from the day, which is optimal for grape and vine growth.
At Y&W you will find Stephen, Michelle and their daughter Amber, and the spirit of their famous vineyard host, Arnie - the welcoming lab. Together, they invest their time and care, in the vineyard and in the winery.

Young & Wyse are pleased to present their limited collections of handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Sheep Blend, a proprietary blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel. Our collection of whites include a Viognier, Pinot Gris, Gewerztraminer and an Amber, a proprietary blend of Viognier, Pinot Gris and Gewerztraminer.
